Volunteering:
Simple, Easy & Fun
| It's National Volunteer Week - April 27th through May 3rd !
Fellow
citizens of
Oregon City,
do you have
an hour or two
or
three or four
that
you can spare
on a Saturday
to help us out?
We need volunteers
to assist at
the farmers'
market and you'd
get to spend
time with a
great group
of people helping
with a worthy
cause. Are you
an early bird?
Come up and
help the market
vendors get
ready for the
day. Or perhaps
early afternoons
are better for
you, in which
case you can
help us pack
up at the end
of the market.
Do
you have a skill
or interest
that speaks
to the mission
of the farmers'
market? Are
you a master
gardener? Do
you know all
there is to
know about recycling
or composting?
We need your
help with our
information
and education
programs. We
are looking
to promote these
and other related
"sustainability"
ideas in our
community. Please
contact the
Market Manager
if you would
like to assist
us with our
mission, or
our more humble
volunteering
needs. It's
good for the
community and
it will give
you a great
outlet for your
creativity.
